This iconic sandstone castle in Sydney’s Marsfield is set upon three acres of glorious landscaped gardens; a venue synonymous with sophistication and charm. The castle’s 7 versatile event rooms can accommodate up to 450 seated guests and offers a unique location for hosting unforgettable events.
This heritage listed sandstone mansion was built in 1899 by Harry Curzon Smith as a present to his wife, Isabella. The building was later home to the Vincentian Fathers in 1922 and in 1983 was sold and converted to a function centre.
The property boasts a range of opulently appointed ballrooms both within the original sandstone building but also encompassing the modern addition of Lady Mary’s Pavilion; a multi-million dollar establishment brimming with sophistication and charm.
The seven pillar-less ballrooms can accommodate between 30 – 450 seated guests and include a range of stunning features; wrap around terraces, garden views, sweeping staircases, ornate chandeliers and polished parquetry dance floors.
Surrounding the castle are three enchanting gardens featuring professional landscaping and water features – the ideal locations for romantic garden functions.
